The Rising from the Depths project, led by Professor Jon Henderson at the University of Edinburgh, explores underwater and coastal heritage in East Africa. It aims to protect, research, and promote cultural heritage while benefiting local communities economically, socially and environmentally. This 160-page publication reviewed the project's impact, presented case studies and detailed resources generated by participants. A number of diagrams were created to illustrate the project's connections with regional and international strategies.
